Geometric Card features Distress Inks and Simon Says Stamp
Hi, everyone. Today, I'm sharing a card-making tutorial showing how to create this colorful geometric background using distress inks.
I created this clean and simple geometric background with distress inks. I like that when you layer one color on another, you get a new color. In this card, I chose yellows and blues to go on the right. In the area where the colors layer, I got some beautiful shades of green. Therefore, I chose to use green colors on the left side, that way the colors on the background are all related to each other in a way.
Because I wanted the geometric background to be the focal point, I used a simple hello die cut sentiment as my main sentiment, and a white heat embossed black thin strip sentiment go across the whole panel to give this clean and simple card some definition.
