Love You & Me Always

Hello, y'all awesome pawsome crafters! It's Siqi here today with my very first project for the awesome pawsome Crafty Doodle Chick blog. Thank you so much for joining us today.

As we say goodbye to the Christmas and New Year season, Valentine's day is right around the corner. I think today's card would be perfect for your loved ones. 

I made a shaker card using products from both Neat & Tangled and My Favorite Things products which Crafty Doodle Chick carries!

I first die cut the Neat & Tangle Tiny Cuts repeatedly on some hot pink foil card stock and then trimmed it down to thin stripes which all measure 0.25 in. And then used some adhesive to adhere each stripe down on a 4.25 by 5.5 inch white card stock panel placed about 0.5 inch apart from each other.

After finished the panel, I used a rectangle stitched die to die cut the whole panel and a circle die to die cut a circle window and a ring to go around the window. Instead of fussing with foam tape stripes, I decided to use a piece of fun foam that I die cut a circle window slightly bigger than the one in the front panel to give my shaker card a sturdy backing. I adhered the fun foam piece and the front panel together sandwiching a piece of acetate in between, and added some iridescent sequins and sea-beads. And then closed the shaker compartment by adhering a piece of white card stock to seal it.

The rest of the card is quite simple. I die cut the sentiment LOVE with some gold foil cradstock, and also some white cardstock three more times to adhere them together for more dimension. I also white heat embossed the sub-sentiment YOU & ME ALWAYS on a thin stripe of black cardstock to go across the big LOVE sentiment.

To finish is off, I adhered the whole panel on a A2 size top folding note card. And added some iridescent sequins and sea-beads here and there to accomplish the shaker part.
