True Love Card featured ECD ModaScrap Release Jan 2018

Hello, everyone! Today I'm so excited to post my very first project for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I'm beyond honored to be a part of the ECD Design Team this year and to be able to use all their awesome products to bring you more inspirations through out the year.

For my first card, I did nothing fancy but stick to all the bright colors that I love so much. I die cut all the hearts besides the heart with the "LOVE" word in the ModaScrap True Love die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs to create some masks. And then used all the masks to do some ink-blending with Distress inks.

I used Soft Finish Cardstock (8.5" X 11" 230gr /85Lb 10 pack) to be my ink-blending panel. This is a wonderful and high quality cardstock that has two finishes on each side which give you more options in crafting. I also used Soft Finish Cardstock (8.5" X 11" 270gr /100Lb 10 pack) for my card base.

For the sentiment, I die cut the "LOVE" heart die 4 times and stacked them up together with spray adhesive.

To add some interests, I used a piece of adhesive from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Clear Double Sided Adhesive (5" x 12" - 5 pack) to stick on a small piece of the same cardstock and then die cut the "LOVE" heart die with it, peeled off the release paper, and coated it with Silk Microfine Glitter in the color Cool Diamond 1oz. This is by far my favorite product when it come down to using glitter in my project.

BTW, you can also use your copic markers or whatever markers of your choice to color the glitter coated piece if you would like to add some custom colors.

I sticked the glitter coated die cut piece on top of my die cut sentiment stack. I use some iridescent embroidery floss to form some loops to mat my die cut sentiment.

I trimmed off a thin edge on my front panel and stick it onto my card base using some Clear Double Sided Adhesive (6mm - 0.24" (25m/27yrd)).

And to finish it off I used some Nuvo Jewel Drops with the colors match my ink-blending to add some drops for embellishment.

I love this ModaScrap True Love die set with its sketchy looking. I think this will be a perfect addition to add in your crafting stash for Valentine's Day projects.
