Peace, Joy, Love Holiday Card
Hi, all you crafters! Today, I'm sharing a video features a card idea or I should rather say formula to create a simple Holiday card that can be used for MANY MANY occasions. This is a very easy card to make thank to the Concord & 9th Sunshine Turnabout Stamp Set. I stamped it with my MISTI tool 4 times with 4 different colors inks from Simon Says Stamp. I like the modern and fresh looking this non-traditional Holiday color combination gives. It makes me think of a cold snowed winter morning.
Since this is such a simple design, I wanted to add some details on the embellishments. I die cut some snow flakes from Mama Elephant Snow Flurries die set with silver glitter, silver foil cardstock, also one from regular cardstock that I coated with some Prisma Glitter along with some glitter drops that I created with Nuvo Silver Moondust glitter drops. Love how simple this is yet you can easily give it a completed different look by changing the colors of inks that you use.
Here I have an example feature a different Holiday color combo. I die cut the snow flakes in this card with Concord & 9th Take A Bough die set and coated with some Judikins Iridescent Sparkle embossing powder.
This is a simplified version of this card which I only embellished it with some sequins. I think it can be easily transformed into a masculine card with some green and blue colors.
Last but not least, I have this card that I created for my husband for Veteran's Day. I used Avery Elle pigment ink since I'm stamping on some colored cardstock. This is from Die Cut With a View Kraft stack, which is darker in color than Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. And the sentiment is just perfect to say to our veterans to show our appreciation for their service.
